There are rats living in my kitchen sink please help?
There are on occasion a rat or 2 or sometimes several that comes from the kitchen sink and rummages through prepared food on the stove or cereal boxes. Just recently we found feces in the sink pipe that looks like it came from the rats. What do I do?

Put your food in boxes like plastic with covers and every night set out mouse traps and in the corners and where you see them running from for a while. Or call the council

The smell is attacting them.

you could drop poison down the drainage pipe and c if that does anything

Call an exterminator, rats breed quickly, and since you see them pretty often, there might be a lot of them living in or around your house
and maybe a plumber, because if there are rats in your pipes they could die in there and clog them up or chew on them and cause all sorts of problems.
You can also get rat traps.
