I have a hole in my bathroom sink about 2" tall and 1 1/2" wide. Is there a way I can patch this?

Without knowing what the sink is made of, NO ONE can tell you IF it is reparable. What I CAN say for certain is a hole that large can’t be repaired without LOOKING repaired. A new sink probably won’t cost much more than a functional repair.

Two options:
1) Bondo or fiberglass to repair the hole, sand smooth and refinish the entire sink to achieve a like-new appearance or
2) replace the entire sink. And whatever you did to break a big hole in the sink, don’t do that again.
